Hon. Pansy Wong M.P. Minister of Ethnic Affairs and Women’s Affairs paid a visit to the Nelson Multicultural Resource Centre on 1 December 2009. She met with the people who work in the centre and heard how services are working in Nelson/Tasman. She also listened to concerns regarding the government’s commitment to refugee settlement, especially in regard to English Language tuition.
