Becoming a member of Nelson Multicultural Council

If you share our values of promoting positive race relations and celebrating cultural diversity why not join up and be a part of our organization?

Got no time? Never mind…you can just be a silent supporter and receive updates on happenings & events.

Want to get involved? There are lots of opportunities for volunteering from simply attending our monthly Pot Luck Dinners and extending the hand of friendship to newcomers (or washing the dishes!), to joining project working groups e.g. for organizing events such as Race Unity Day, or our cultural education group which teaches Kiwi kids about other cultures, receptionist at the centre when the staff are tied up at meetings or signing up for the management committee!

Membership costs $10 per year and is open to any individual, family of agency who shares our values.
